WAYS is offering Friends for Life Anxiety Group, Still Surviving Adolescence, Anger Awareness, On Your Own and Parent Group.  Details are listed below:  


Friends_for_Life_Anxiety_Group_Starting_Feb_20_2012     pdf

What:  To manage and prevent anxiety and depression by teaching youth practical skills and strategies for coping with stress, worry, fear and sadness.
When:  Mondays starting February 20, 2012 - to April 23, 2012 from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Where:  Craigwood Youth Services - 520 Hamilton Road, London
Who:  11 to 14 year old males and females (Parent/guardians are encouraged to attend two information sessions)

Surviving_Adolescence_Information_Sheet     pdf

What: To help youth learn more about handling stress, positive self care and allow them to be able to express their mind.
When: TBD
Where: 372 Maitland Street, 2nd side door, London (in the annex at the back of the house).
Who: 14 to 17 year old males and females who are willing to make a commitment to attend all dates.

Anger_Awareness_Group Flyer Starting_Feb_8_2012      pdf

What: To assist youth to learn more about the thoughts, feelings and action connection, to examine ineffective anger responses; to practice and learn more productive ways to cope with anger; to become more skillful in relating to others.  
When:  Wednesdays starting February 8, 2012 - April 4th, 2012 (no group on March 21st)
