WAYS also operates two Transitional Residential Programs in London. Participation in these programs is voluntary, and admission is arranged by contacting the programs directly.

Home Location Serving Contact Number
Three-Quarter House London Females aged 16-21 519-432-2209 x3371
Jon Clark House London Males aged 16-21 519-432-2209 x3101

These programs help young people develop the social, coping, life and employment-related skills they need to live successfully and independently in the community.

In both locations, residents learn by doing. Each person develops a personal financial plan, pays for room and board and participates in shopping, meal preparation, and other day-to-day household chores.

Residents typically attend school or another training program. They are also encouraged to obtain and maintain part-time employment.

Many participants are graduates from Intensive Residential Programs and others are admitted directly from the community.

These programs are not licensed under the Child and Family Services Act. Minimal structure and supervision are provided, in keeping with the goals of the program and the general well-being of residents and the community.

Note: These programs address some emotional or behavioural problems. However, for significant problems, WAYS refers residents to agencies that can provide more appropriate therapies or interventions.
