WAYS has a long history in Southwestern Ontario. Some residential programs that are now under the WAYS umbrella have been in operation for over 40 years.

WAYS was officially born in 1996 when three independently managed group homes for youth were amalgamated into the single agency that we now call WAYS. The three original group homes were: Teen Girls Home, a branch of Mission Services of London; Belton House, a group home for female youth; and Hardy Geddes Home, a group home for male youth.

In 2005, Community Homes Limited, an organization serving youth in London, Chatham, Sarnia and Forest, was acquired by WAYS. Their legacy of service and quality programs continues today in the same locations, under the WAYS name and management.

Currently, WAYS has 13 facilities and over 200 staff with a consolidated management team and a single board of directors.

In the years ahead, WAYS will continue to adapt and grow in response to the needs of communities in Southwestern Ontario.

WAYS is an accredited Children's Mental Health Centre. We are grateful for the many partner agencies, funding organizations and community members who support our work.
